I mentioned this to a previous reply, but the TrackPad for the mouse really feels great after I've cranked the sensitivity almost all the way down, then set acceleration to it's highest setting. This is literally the only time where I find it a bit of a bother to play on the Steam Deck. The only time it's a bother to me playing on the Steam Deck is when I need a keyboard to search for items. The second reason is the best answer to your question.
